How to join your Tiny Block server

  1. 1

Open Tiny Block on the web, or on iOS or Android.

  2. 2

Go to the Online Worlds list.

  3. 3

Find your server by its world name and join.

Common problems

Keep Version on latest. The game updates often, and a server on an old release may not match what players have.

World Mode shapes how a world is generated. To try another mode, pair it with a new World ID for a fresh world, and switch back to the old ID to return.

Server missing from Online Worlds? It shows once the console prints that the server is online. Give it a clear World Name so players can spot it.

Server not responding

Make sure the server is online. Servers sleep after 4 days with nobody playing, and anyone with access can start them again from the dashboard in one click.

Use the server address

Do not use localhost, 127.0.0.1 or your own IP from a home hosting guide. Copy the exact address of the server.

No port forwarding or firewall changes

Opening ports on your router is only for hosting a server at home, so there is nothing to change to join this one. If Windows asks whether to let the game through the firewall, choose Allow.

Tiny Block server hosting, explained

Tiny Block is a free 2D sandbox survival game from No Such Games, built with Godot 4, that runs in the browser and on iOS and Android. You start with almost nothing on a floating island or a single block, then mine, craft, farm and expand into biomes full of creatures. There is proximity voice chat in multiplayer, so voices fade with distance as people spread out.

Player hosted worlds are capped at 4 players and close when the host leaves. The community server is an open source headless build that keeps one world running for everyone. It lists itself in the game's Online Worlds list, so school friends, a Discord group or a family on mixed devices can all play together without one phone staying awake.

In the panel you choose the world mode, world name, world ID, max players and the release version. The world ID is the save: keep it to carry on, change it to start fresh. Skyblock is the default, and one block, floating islands, random worlds and challenge runs are one setting away. A one click backup before trying a new mode means you can always roll back.

This is a light 2D server. The default 16 player world runs in 1 GB. Procedural worlds grow as people explore, so a large group in one should take 2 GB, and 4 GB is for a raised player cap with a world explored far in every direction. Switching plans takes a click in the panel, and a group can split the bill between up to 10 people, each paying a share.

Included on every plan

  • Always on DDoS protection
  • 24/7 support from real people
  • Low ping game hardware
  • Live the moment you pay
  • Your own address and port
  • Live console with full access
  • One click game actions
  • One click backups
  • Upgrade or cancel any time

Common questions

How many players can join a Tiny Block server?

The server starts with 16 slots, set with Maximum Players in the panel. Player hosted worlds are capped at 4, so a server is the way to play with more.

Which world types can I run?

Skyblock, floating islands, procedural random worlds, one block and challenge runs. Pick one with World Mode.

How do players find the server?

In the Online Worlds list in the game. Community servers appear there while they are running, marked as community worlds.

Do players need an address or port?

No. The game connects through the Online Worlds list, so players just pick your world by name.

Can mobile and web players join together?

Yes. The web, iOS and Android versions all use the same Online Worlds list and can share one server.

How do I start a fresh world?

Enter a new World ID and restart. The old world stays saved under its ID if you want to go back.

Is Tiny Block free?

Yes. The game is free on the web, iOS and Android, and the server software is open source.

How much RAM does a Tiny Block server need?

Very little. 1 GB runs the default 16 player world, and 2 GB covers large groups in procedural worlds.

Is GamezServers affiliated with Tiny Block?

No. You rent and control your own dedicated Tiny Block server. GamezServers is not affiliated with the game's developer or publisher.

Can my friends and I split the cost?

Yes. At checkout choose "Me and my friends" and up to 10 people each pay their own share with their own card, on any plan length, from 3 days to a year. It is not a payment plan: nobody pays in parts over time, each friend simply pays their own share. You pay yours, send each friend their link, and the server starts straight away. Each share includes a $1 payment fee.

Can I build a custom plan?

Yes. Every game has a Build your own page: pick any amount of RAM up to 32 GB, any length from 3 days to 1 year, prepaid or a subscription, plus your server type and settings. A custom size costs 15% more per GB than the standard plans next to it.

Can I pay once instead of a subscription?

Yes. Pick Prepaid and pay once for 3 days, 30 days, 6 months or a year. Nothing renews: when the time is up the server pauses and keeps its world for 14 days. Add time or switch to a subscription from your panel any time. Short rentals cost more per day, since every server is set up from scratch.

How fast is setup, really?

Your server starts building the moment Stripe confirms payment. Most are online in under a minute, and the address and login appear on your dashboard automatically.
