How much does a game server cost?
Game servers start at 75¢: the smallest plan on our lightest games, prepaid for 3 days. Bigger games and plans cost more, every price is on the game's page, and your first subscription gets 50% off your first month. Split it with friends and each pays only their share.
Can my friends and I split the cost?
Yes. At checkout choose "Me and my friends" and up to 10 people each pay their own share with their own card, on any plan length, from 3 days to a year. It is not a payment plan: nobody pays in parts over time, each friend simply pays their own share. You pay yours, send each friend their link, and the server starts straight away. Each share includes a $1 payment fee.
Can I build a custom plan?
Yes. Every game has a Build your own page: pick any amount of RAM up to 32 GB, any length from 3 days to 1 year, prepaid or a subscription, plus your server type and settings. A custom size costs 15% more per GB than the standard plans next to it.
Can I pay once instead of a subscription?
Yes. Pick Prepaid and pay once for 3 days, 30 days, 6 months or a year. Nothing renews: when the time is up the server pauses and keeps its world for 14 days. Add time or switch to a subscription from your panel any time. Short rentals cost more per day, since every server is set up from scratch.
How fast is setup, really?
Your server starts building the moment Stripe confirms payment. Most are online in under a minute, and the address and login appear on your dashboard automatically.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. Pick Yearly on any plan: per day it costs 18% less than paying monthly. Your first yearly subscription also gets 2 months free. Already paying monthly? Switch to yearly from the control panel of your server.
Do I need any technical knowledge?
No. Everything you do day to day is a button: start, stop, restart, backup and the common game commands. The full console is there if you want it, never because you need it.
Is there a new customer deal?
Yes, on your first subscription for any game: 50% off your first month on monthly plans, 1 month free on 6 month plans and 2 months free on yearly plans. Splitting with friends? Every share gets the deal too. After that you pay the regular price. Prepaid time does not get a deal, but longer lengths always cost less per day.
Are your servers protected from DDoS attacks?
Yes. Every server on every plan sits behind always on DDoS protection at no extra cost, so attacks and booters do not knock your group offline.
