A free Terraria world that stays online
A real paid Terraria server, with your share link covering the bill.
Host and Play only works while the host keeps Terraria open, and free hosts make up the difference with queues and ads. Here the server is a normal paid one, and the credits your share link earns pay for it.

How a Terraria server ends up free
Terraria is cheap to run, so credits go far
Terraria is light compared with most survival games. A vanilla server with a small or medium world and up to 8 players runs comfortably on 2 GB, and our 2 GB Starter plan is $4.99 a month. That makes it one of the easiest servers to cover with credits alone.
It grows with you, too. A large world or tModLoader with a few mods suits 4 GB, and Calamity, Thorium or a big mod list want 6 GB. Bigger plans simply cost more credits, and you can move up whenever the boss list gets longer.
Two ways your link earns
Every account gets a share link in one click from the dashboard. No application and no code. It earns 5 cents in credits for every person who clicks it, counted once a day per person, and $10 in credits for every person who clicks it and subscribes, once per person.
Anyone counts. Strangers from a Terraria subreddit, a Discord server or a video about your pixel art build earn you credits just like friends do.
What the credits buy
Credits are money that buys servers with us, not a discount, and they come off your bills automatically. $10 in credits covers about two months of the 2 GB Starter plan. 100 clicks earn you $5, a month of Starter on clicks alone.
Once your credits cover a server you get it with credits alone: no card and no payment. A 3 day prepaid 2 GB Terraria server is $1.25, so 25 clicks are enough to start a world for the weekend, and you keep adding time as credits come in. Credits never expire while the program runs, have no cash value and only pay GamezServers bills.
What typical free hosts leave out
Free Terraria hosts often come with a start queue, ads, or a world that shuts down the moment everyone logs off. Ours has none of that. The server is online in about a minute, stays up when the last player leaves and only goes to sleep after 4 days with nobody on. Anyone with access wakes it with one click.
Switch between vanilla, tModLoader and TShock from the panel, upload an existing .wld file, set dawn, noon or midnight in one click and back up your world before every boss. DDoS protection is included, the same as on every paid plan.

How to join your Terraria server
- 1
Launch Terraria, or tModLoader for a modded server, on the same version as your server.
- 2
Click Multiplayer, then Join via IP.
- 3
Pick your character, then enter
203.0.113.24as the IP. - 4
Enter
7777as the port, then the server password if it has one.
Common problems
IP and port go in separate screens
Terraria asks for the IP first and the port on the next screen. Do not type the colon.
Modded server will not let you in
Join a tModLoader server from tModLoader, not regular Terraria, and on the same tModLoader version as the server. tModLoader downloads the server's mods when you connect.
TShock asks you to log in
TShock servers can require an account. Type /register with a password in chat, then /login. The owner gets full rights with the one time /setup code shown in the server console on the first start.
Server not responding
Make sure the server is online. Servers sleep after 4 days with nobody playing, and anyone with access can start them again from the dashboard in one click.
Use the server address
Do not use localhost, 127.0.0.1 or your own IP from a home hosting guide. Copy the exact address of the server.
No port forwarding or firewall changes
Opening ports on your router is only for hosting a server at home, so there is nothing to change to join this one. If Windows asks whether to let the game through the firewall, choose Allow.
Common questions
Is this Terraria server actually free?
The server is a normal paid one. Your share link earns credits that come off your bill automatically, and when they cover the whole bill you pay nothing.
Is 2 GB enough for Terraria?
For vanilla with a small or medium world and up to 8 players, yes. A large world or a few mods suits 4 GB, and Calamity or a big mod list wants 6 GB.
How do I earn credits?
Two ways: 5 cents for every person who clicks your link, once a day per person, and $10 for every person who clicks it and subscribes, once per person. They do not need to be your friends.
Can credits pay for the server without a card?
Yes. Once your credits cover a server you get it with credits alone. A 3 day prepaid 2 GB Terraria server is $1.25.
Can I run Calamity on a credit paid server?
Yes. It is the same server as a paid one. Switch to tModLoader, upload your mods and restart. Calamity runs best on 4 to 6 GB, which costs more credits than 2 GB.
Can console or mobile players join?
PC players can always join. Re-Logic is adding crossplay in stages, so console and mobile players can join once their version of Terraria supports PC servers.
Is 2 GB enough?
For vanilla with a few friends, yes. Modded worlds like Calamity want 4 GB or more.
Can I upload my existing world?
Yes. Stop the server and upload the .wld file from your Terraria Worlds folder into saves/Worlds (vanilla and tModLoader) or the server folder (TShock). Set World name to the file name without .wld and start. Your character stays on your own PC.
Can I run Calamity and other mods?
Yes. Switch the server to tModLoader, upload the .tmod files to the mods folder, list them in mods/enabled.json and restart. Players join through tModLoader. Calamity and bigger mod lists run best on 4 to 6 GB.
Can my friends and I split the cost?
Yes. At checkout choose "Me and my friends" and up to 10 people each pay their own share with their own card, on any plan length, from 3 days to a year. It is not a payment plan: nobody pays in parts over time, each friend simply pays their own share. You pay yours, send each friend their link, and the server starts straight away. Each share includes a $1 payment fee.
Can I build a custom plan?
Yes. Every game has a Build your own page: pick any amount of RAM up to 32 GB, any length from 3 days to 1 year, prepaid or a subscription, plus your server type and settings. A custom size costs 15% more per GB than the standard plans next to it.
Can I pay once instead of a subscription?
Yes. Pick Prepaid and pay once for 3 days, 30 days, 6 months or a year. Nothing renews: when the time is up the server pauses and keeps its world for 14 days. Add time or switch to a subscription from your panel any time. Short rentals cost more per day, since every server is set up from scratch.
How fast is setup, really?
Your server starts building the moment Stripe confirms payment. Most are online in under a minute, and the address and login appear on your dashboard automatically.
