Launch The Isle and open the server browser.

Common problems
Admins go in Game.ini under AdminsSteamIDs, one Steam64 ID per line. A typo in the section name and the server silently ignores it.
RCON is off by default. Set RCON to true in the panel, then connect your RCON tool with the RCON password and port from the panel.
Keep the server on the latest Evrima build with Auto Update. Players on a newer client cannot join an older server.
Server not responding
Make sure the server is online. Servers sleep after 4 days with nobody playing, and anyone with access can start them again from the dashboard in one click.
Use the server address
Do not use localhost, 127.0.0.1 or your own IP from a home hosting guide. Copy the exact address of the server.
No port forwarding or firewall changes
Opening ports on your router is only for hosting a server at home, so there is nothing to change to join this one. If Windows asks whether to let the game through the firewall, choose Allow.
The Isle server hosting, explained
The Isle is a multiplayer survival game where you play as a dinosaur. You start as a hatchling, hunt or graze to grow, and try to reach adulthood without ending up as someone else's dinner. The current branch, Evrima, is still in development by Afterthought, with species and systems added over time. Most of the game's character comes from server culture rather than the map itself.
That is why communities run their own servers. Realism servers enforce hunting and nesting rules, roleplay groups run herds and packs with their own lore, and PvP servers keep things simple. Owning the server lets you write those rules down, pick admins you trust and build a regular crowd that comes back to the same island every night. Most of all, it keeps the server culture yours.
The panel covers the server name, password, player count, dynamic weather, replay, the human toggle and the join queue, plus RCON with its own password and port so your staff can moderate remotely. Game.ini in the file manager holds the admin list, whitelist, VIPs, which species are playable and which mutations are on. Auto update keeps the server on the newest build.
The Isle gets heavy as the population grows. Every player, the AI and the large map all count. Up to about 30 players is comfortable on 8 GB. Communities that see 50 or more should take 12 GB, and 16 GB is the safe choice near 100 players. Change plans in the panel any time as your population grows, and staff can split the bill, up to 10 people each paying their share.

Common questions
How many players can an Evrima server hold?
You set the cap with Player Count in the panel, up to 100. Performance drops past that, so most big servers stop at 100.
How do I add admins?
Add each admin's Steam64 ID to AdminsSteamIDs in Game.ini, one per line, then restart the server.
Can I use RCON?
Yes. Set RCON to true and give it a password in the panel, then connect with an RCON tool for kicks, bans, messages and whitelist changes.
Can I run a whitelist server?
Yes. Add Steam IDs to WhitelistIDs in Game.ini and turn the whitelist on, or add players over RCON.
What does the queue do?
With Enable Queue on, players who join a full server wait in line for a slot instead of being turned away.
What does the Humans setting do?
It toggles human characters on the server. It is off by default, and most servers leave it that way.
Can I choose which dinosaurs are playable?
Yes. Game.ini has a list of allowed classes. Remove a species from it to keep it off your server.
How much RAM does The Isle need?
8 GB for up to about 30 players, 12 GB for 50 or more, and 16 GB near 100.
Is GamezServers affiliated with The Isle?
No. You rent and control your own dedicated The Isle server. GamezServers is not affiliated with the game's developer or publisher.
Can my friends and I split the cost?
Yes. At checkout choose "Me and my friends" and up to 10 people each pay their own share with their own card, on any plan length, from 3 days to a year. It is not a payment plan: nobody pays in parts over time, each friend simply pays their own share. You pay yours, send each friend their link, and the server starts straight away. Each share includes a $1 payment fee.
Can I build a custom plan?
Yes. Every game has a Build your own page: pick any amount of RAM up to 32 GB, any length from 3 days to 1 year, prepaid or a subscription, plus your server type and settings. A custom size costs 15% more per GB than the standard plans next to it.
Can I pay once instead of a subscription?
Yes. Pick Prepaid and pay once for 3 days, 30 days, 6 months or a year. Nothing renews: when the time is up the server pauses and keeps its world for 14 days. Add time or switch to a subscription from your panel any time. Short rentals cost more per day, since every server is set up from scratch.
How fast is setup, really?
