Minecraft: Bedrock Edition server hosting

A free Bedrock server for every device your friends own

The official Bedrock Dedicated Server, paid for by the credits your link earns.

Bedrock friend groups usually end up hosting from one device or paying for a Realm. There is a third way: a real dedicated Bedrock server that is normally paid, with the credits your share link earns covering the bill.

How a Bedrock server ends up free

Bedrock is light, so credits stretch

We run Mojang's own Bedrock Dedicated Server. It is native code, so it needs far less memory than a Java server: Mojang recommends 1 GB, and our 2 GB Starter plan comfortably holds a survival world with up to 10 friends for $4.99 a month. Memory only becomes the limit with big explored worlds, heavy add-ons or 25 players or more, which is where the 4 and 6 GB plans come in.

That makes Bedrock one of the cheapest servers to cover with credits, and one of the easiest to keep covered.

Two ways your link earns

Every account gets a share link in one click from the dashboard. No application and no code. It earns 5 cents in credits for every person who clicks it, counted once a day per person, and $10 in credits for every person who clicks it and subscribes, once per person.

Anyone counts, not just the friends in your world. A post in a Bedrock Discord, a TikTok of your build or a link in a group chat all earn you credits from whoever clicks.

What the credits buy

Credits are money that buys servers with us, not a discount, and they come off your bills automatically. $10 in credits covers about two months of the 2 GB Starter plan, or a month of the 4 GB Standard plan at $9.99. 100 clicks earn you $5, a month of Starter on clicks alone.

Once your credits cover a server you get it with credits alone: no card and no payment. A 3 day prepaid 2 GB Bedrock server is $1.25, so 25 clicks get your world online, and you keep adding time as credits come in. Credits never expire while the program runs, have no cash value and only pay GamezServers bills.

More than a free host or a Realm

Free Minecraft hosts tend to come with start queues, ads and servers that stop when everyone logs off. A Realm caps you at 10 friends online and gives you no file access. Ours is online in about a minute, with an allowlist by Gamertag, add-ons uploaded in the Files tab, one click backups, DDoS protection and a world you can download whenever you like.

Windows, iPhone, iPad, Android, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch players share one world. When phones and consoles update Minecraft, click Update game and your world is backed up and kept. The server only sleeps after 4 days with nobody on, and one click wakes it.

Every plan is live the moment you pay. Upgrade or cancel from your dashboard any time.

Minecraft Bedrock actions

How to join your Minecraft Bedrock server

  1. 1

Update Minecraft to the newest version. Bedrock only joins servers on the same version.

  2. 2

On Windows, iPhone, iPad or Android, click Play, open the Servers tab and choose Add Server.

  3. 3

Type any name, then enter 203.0.113.24 as the server address and 19132 as the port.

  4. 4

Click Save, then pick the server in the list to join. Xbox, PlayStation and Switch cannot add servers this way, see the tips below.

Common problems

IP and port go in separate boxes

Bedrock asks for the Server Address and the Port separately. Put only the numbers before the colon in Server Address, and the number after the colon in Port. Leaving the port at 19132 is the most common reason a server will not connect.

"Outdated server" or "Outdated client"

Bedrock only connects when your game and the server run the same version. Update Minecraft from your app store, or ask the owner to click Update game in the dashboard after a new Minecraft release.

Playing on Xbox, PlayStation or Switch?

Consoles only show the featured servers and have no Add Server button. The usual workaround is the free BedrockConnect DNS method, which adds a screen where you type the address. Apps like BedrockTogether (phone) or Phantom (PC on the same Wi-Fi) can also make the server show up under Friends or LAN games.

"You are not invited to this server"

The allowlist is on and your Gamertag is not on it. Ask the owner to add you with Allowlist player, typing your Gamertag exactly.

On Java Edition?

Java Edition players cannot join a Bedrock server. For Java and Bedrock players together, run a Java server with Geyser instead.

Server not responding

Make sure the server is online. Servers sleep after 4 days with nobody playing, and anyone with access can start them again from the dashboard in one click.

Use the server address

Do not use localhost, 127.0.0.1 or your own IP from a home hosting guide. Copy the exact address of the server.

No port forwarding or firewall changes

Opening ports on your router is only for hosting a server at home, so there is nothing to change to join this one. If Windows asks whether to let the game through the firewall, choose Allow.

Common questions

Is this Bedrock server actually free?

The server is a normal paid one. Your share link earns credits that come off your bill automatically, and when they cover the whole bill you pay nothing.

Is 2 GB enough for a Bedrock server?

Yes, for survival with up to 10 friends. Bedrock Dedicated Server is far lighter than Java. Busy worlds or heavy add-ons suit 4 to 6 GB.

How do I earn credits?

Two ways: 5 cents for every person who clicks your link, once a day per person, and $10 for every person who clicks it and subscribes, once per person. They do not need to be your friends.

Can credits pay for the server without a card?

Yes. Once your credits cover a server you get it with credits alone. A 3 day prepaid 2 GB Bedrock server is $1.25, and you can keep adding time with credits.

Can Xbox, PlayStation and Switch players join?

Yes. Consoles have no Add Server button, so console players use the free BedrockConnect DNS method, or an app like BedrockTogether or Phantom that lists the server under Friends or LAN games.

Can Java Edition players join?

No. Bedrock Dedicated Server only accepts Bedrock players. For a mixed group, run a Java server with Geyser instead.

Can PlayStation, Xbox and Switch players join?

Yes, they play on the server like anyone else. Consoles just have no Add Server button, so console players use the free BedrockConnect DNS method to type in the address, or an app like BedrockTogether or Phantom that lists the server under Friends or LAN games.

Can Java Edition players join?

No. Bedrock Dedicated Server only accepts Bedrock players. If your group mixes Java and Bedrock, pick our Minecraft: Java Edition server and add Geyser, which lets Bedrock players join a Java world.

Why does it say "Outdated server"?

Minecraft updated on your device and the server is still on the older version. Click Update game in the dashboard. Your world is backed up first and kept.

Can my friends and I split the cost?

Yes. At checkout choose "Me and my friends" and up to 10 people each pay their own share with their own card, on any plan length, from 3 days to a year. It is not a payment plan: nobody pays in parts over time, each friend simply pays their own share. You pay yours, send each friend their link, and the server starts straight away. Each share includes a $1 payment fee.

Can I build a custom plan?

Yes. Every game has a Build your own page: pick any amount of RAM up to 32 GB, any length from 3 days to 1 year, prepaid or a subscription, plus your server type and settings. A custom size costs 15% more per GB than the standard plans next to it.

Can I pay once instead of a subscription?

Yes. Pick Prepaid and pay once for 3 days, 30 days, 6 months or a year. Nothing renews: when the time is up the server pauses and keeps its world for 14 days. Add time or switch to a subscription from your panel any time. Short rentals cost more per day, since every server is set up from scratch.

How fast is setup, really?

Your server starts building the moment Stripe confirms payment. Most are online in under a minute, and the address and login appear on your dashboard automatically.
