A Palworld server for your whole friend group
No more waiting for the host to log in.
Co-op caps at 4 players and the world only exists while the host plays. A dedicated server keeps Palpagos online for everyone, so friends drop in on their own schedule and the base keeps running.

Why friend groups move to a server
Room for the fifth friend and beyond
If your group is 5 or more, a dedicated server is the only way to play together. The Starter plan gives you 12 GB of RAM and room for up to 8 players for 29.99 USD a month, with space for normal bases and a couple of days between restarts.
If the group grows or late game bases fill up with Pals, move to Standard with 16 GB and 16 players from the dashboard. The world moves with you.
Your co-op world comes too
Nobody wants to restart from level one. Stop the server, upload your co-op world folder into Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0/ and set DedicatedServerName in GameUserSettings.ini to that folder name. Bases, Pals and progress carry over.
The player who hosted the co-op game gets a new character on a server, and a community save tool can move the old one across. Take a backup first so you can always roll back.
Settings that suit a group with jobs
The panel has menus for the settings friend groups change first. A good start for 4 to 8 friends is XP rate 2, Capture rate 1.5, Night speed 2 so dark hours pass faster, and Egg hatching hours somewhere between 2 and 8 instead of 72 real hours.
Set Death penalty to Item: drop your materials, keep your gear and your team Pals. PvP stays off, and Raids can be switched off if bases keep getting hit while nobody is around.
Private, steady and looked after
Set a Join password and only people you share it with get in, with a separate admin password for commands. Friends on Steam type your address into the box under the server list. Xbox and PlayStation friends search for the server name in the community server list.
Palworld has a known memory leak, so the server saves and restarts itself with a two minute warning every 8 hours by default, or early at 90% memory. You change the interval under Auto restart.
Split it and keep it on
Choose Split with friends at checkout and each friend pays their own share from a link. New customers get 50% off the first month, every share included. Sleep when empty stops the server after 90 minutes with nobody online, and base Pals only work while it runs, so turn it off in Settings if you want them busy overnight.

Common problems
Include the port
Type the whole address, including the colon and the number after it.
Version mismatch
The server updates itself every time it starts. After a Palworld patch, restart the server and update the game on every device.
Settings went back
Settings from the panel are written into PalWorldSettings.ini on every start. Change those in the panel, and stop the server before editing anything else in the file.
Server not responding
Make sure the server is online. Servers sleep after 4 days with nobody playing, and anyone with access can start them again from the dashboard in one click.
Use the server address
Do not use localhost, 127.0.0.1 or your own IP from a home hosting guide. Copy the exact address of the server.
No port forwarding or firewall changes
Opening ports on your router is only for hosting a server at home, so there is nothing to change to join this one. If Windows asks whether to let the game through the firewall, choose Allow.
Common questions
How many friends can join the Starter plan?
Up to 8 players on 12 GB. Standard has 16 GB for up to 16 players, and Pro has 24 GB for a full 32.
Can I move our co-op world to the server?
Yes. Upload the world folder into Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0/ and set DedicatedServerName to its folder name. The co-op host gets a new character, and a community tool can move the old one. Back up first.
Do our base Pals keep working when we log off?
Yes, while the server runs. Turn off Sleep when empty in Settings so it never stops when the last friend leaves.
Can I password protect the server?
Yes. Set a Join password so only people you share it with can join, and a separate admin password for commands.
Can friends on Xbox or PlayStation join?
Yes. Steam, Xbox, PS5 and Mac players can share the server. Console players cannot type an address, so they search for the server name in the community server list.
Can we add mods?
No. Our Palworld servers run vanilla today. Community tools like UE4SS and PalDefender need the Windows server build, which we do not offer yet.
How many players can join?
Up to 32. Pocketpair recommends 16 GB, and big late game bases feel best on 24 GB.
Can I move my co-op world over?
Yes, with a little work. Stop the server, upload your world folder into Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0/ and set DedicatedServerName in GameUserSettings.ini to that folder name. The host of the co-op game gets a new character on a server, and a community save tool can move the old one over. Take a backup first.
Does Palworld crossplay work on a dedicated server?
Yes. Since 1.0, Steam, Xbox, PS5 and Mac players can join the same server. Console players cannot enter an IP, so the server needs to be listed in the community server list for them.
Can my friends and I split the cost?
Yes. At checkout choose "Me and my friends" and up to 10 people each pay their own share with their own card, on any plan length, from 3 days to a year. It is not a payment plan: nobody pays in parts over time, each friend simply pays their own share. You pay yours, send each friend their link, and the server starts straight away. Each share includes a $1 payment fee.
Can I build a custom plan?
Yes. Every game has a Build your own page: pick any amount of RAM up to 32 GB, any length from 3 days to 1 year, prepaid or a subscription, plus your server type and settings. A custom size costs 15% more per GB than the standard plans next to it.
Can I pay once instead of a subscription?
Yes. Pick Prepaid and pay once for 3 days, 30 days, 6 months or a year. Nothing renews: when the time is up the server pauses and keeps its world for 14 days. Add time or switch to a subscription from your panel any time. Short rentals cost more per day, since every server is set up from scratch.
How fast is setup, really?
Your server starts building the moment Stripe confirms payment. Most are online in under a minute, and the address and login appear on your dashboard automatically.
