To use admin commands on a PixARK server, open the console in game and type enablecheats followed by the server's admin password. After that, most commands start with cheat, for example cheat listplayers, cheat kickplayer <SteamID>, cheat broadcast <message>, cheat saveworld and cheat summon <class>. Bans use banplayer <SteamID> and unbanplayer <SteamID>. The admin password is the ServerAdminPassword the server was started with.

Before you start
PixARK is built on the same foundations as ARK, and its admin system works the same way: log in once per session with the admin password, then use cheat commands. The password comes from the server's launch options (?ServerAdminPassword=...) or its config. If you do not have a server running yet, start with how to host a PixARK server.
A note on honesty: PixARK came out in 2019 and Snail Games no longer adds big content. The admin tools below are stable precisely because the game has not changed much. Private servers still run well, and these commands are the main way to look after one.
Logging in
- Join your server.
- Open the console. If you are not sure which key does it, look for Console in the game's key bindings.
- Type:
enablecheats YourAdminPassword
You are now admin until you disconnect. To get the in game cheat menu as well:
setcheatplayer true
Turn it off again with setcheatplayer false.
Server management
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
cheat listplayers |
Lists players on the server with their Steam IDs |
cheat kickplayer <SteamID> |
Kicks a player |
banplayer <SteamID> |
Bans a player permanently |
unbanplayer <SteamID> |
Lifts a ban |
cheat AllowPlayerToJoinNoCheck <SteamID> |
Adds a player to the whitelist |
cheat DisallowPlayerToJoinNoCheck <SteamID> |
Removes a player from the whitelist |
cheat broadcast <message> |
Shows a message to everyone |
cheat SetMessageOfTheDay <message> |
Sets the message players see on join |
cheat saveworld |
Saves the world now |
cheat settimeofday <time> |
Sets the time, for example cheat settimeofday 12:00 |
stat fps |
Shows performance numbers. Works without admin |
Get Steam IDs from cheat listplayers before kicking or banning. Player names in PixARK can be duplicated or changed, the Steam ID cannot.
Run cheat saveworld before you do anything risky, before a restart you did not plan, and before testing a destructive command. It costs nothing.
Player tools
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
cheat god |
Makes you invincible (you can still drown) |
cheat fly / cheat walk |
Turns flying on and back off |
cheat ghost |
Lets you pass through objects |
cheat infinitestats |
Unlimited hunger, stamina and ammo |
cheat addexperience 1000 0 0 |
Gives 1000 experience |
cheat giveresources |
Gives 50 of each resource |
cheat setplayerpos <x> <y> <z> |
Teleports you to coordinates |
cheat teleport |
Moves you to the map origin |
togglegun |
Hides or shows your equipped weapon |
Use these to sort out problems, such as rescuing someone stuck in terrain or replacing gear lost to a bug. Handing them out freely ruins a survival server fast.
Creatures and items
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
cheat summon <class> |
Spawns a creature or structure at your position |
cheat forcetame |
Tames the creature you are looking at instantly |
cheat givetome |
Gives you ownership of the structure or creature you are looking at |
cheat giveitemnum <ID> <quantity> <quality> <blueprint> |
Gives an item by its numeric ID |
cheat damagetarget <amount> |
Damages what you are looking at |
cheat destroyall <class> |
Removes every instance of that class |
cheat destroyallenemies |
Removes all enemies |
Item and creature class names and IDs are listed on community wikis and server hosts' reference pages. Copy them exactly. A typo in summon silently does nothing.
cheat givetome is the one admins use most for good reasons: a tribe member quits and leaves a gate or a favorite mount locked to their name. Look at it, run the command, then hand it back to the right person.
Commands to be careful with
cheat destroyall <class>removes every matching creature or structure on the map. Take a backup first, and double check the class name.cheat slomo <number>changes the speed of the whole server for everyone.cheat slomo 1puts it back to normal.cheat playersonlyfreezes everything except players. Run it again to undo.cheat quitcloses the world.
Commands versus settings
If you use commands every day to change the same thing, it belongs in the server settings instead. Taming speed, harvest amounts, XP and day length are rates in GameUserSettings.ini and Game.ini, set once for everyone. Our PixARK hosting guide shows the common rate lines.
Admin on a hosted PixARK server
On a GamezServers PixARK server, the admin password and the server password are settings in the control panel, and the server starts with them every time. You log in with enablecheats the same way. The .ini files are in the file manager for rates, and one click backups give you a restore point before a destroyall or a big rate change. A small tribe fits on 8 GB.
