Private co-op servers

A private server for your friend group

Your world, your rules, online whenever any of you wants to play.

A dedicated server keeps your group's world online when the host logs off, and only the people you invite can get in. Pick the co-op game you are playing this month, choose the plan sized for your group, and send the address to the group chat.

Built for a group chat, not a server list

Locked to your friends in every game

Every game here has a way to keep strangers out, set from the panel. Minecraft: Java Edition has whitelist and op buttons, and Bedrock has an allowlist where you add friends by Gamertag. Valheim and Palworld use a join password. Project Zomboid has a join password plus a Whitelist only switch with an Add whitelisted account button, and ARK: Survival Ascended has Whitelist only with a button to add each player by their EOS ID.

Hide the server from public lists where the game allows it, and your world is effectively invisible to everyone but the people you send the address to.

Friends on different devices

Friend groups rarely all play on the same thing. Minecraft: Bedrock Edition puts Windows, iPhone, Android, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch players in one world. Valheim's vanilla server has crossplay on by default for Xbox, PlayStation 5, Switch 2 and Game Pass. Palworld lets Steam, Xbox, PS5 and Mac players join the same server, and ARK: Survival Ascended servers are cross platform for Xbox and PlayStation. 7 Days to Die has a Crossplay server type for PC, PlayStation and Xbox, up to 8 players.

Each game page shows exactly how console players join, since many consoles have no box for an IP address.

Sized for a group, not a community

A friends server does not need a plan built for a hundred strangers. A vanilla Minecraft world for up to 5 friends runs on 2 GB for $4.99 a month. Terraria fits up to 8 players on the same plan, and Valheim fits 5 Vikings on 4 GB for $9.99. Bigger survival games need more: Project Zomboid starts at 6 GB for $14.99, and Palworld and ARK start at 12 GB for $29.99.

Split it and each friend pays their own share from a link, with a $1 payment fee per share. Eight friends on a $39.99 Palworld server pay about $6 each.

Follow your group to the next game

Groups move on: Minecraft for two months, then Palworld, then a Valheim update drops. Instead of cancelling and buying again, the owner can switch the server to another game with a same memory plan from Settings. The current world is backed up first, and the address stays the same.

Want two games running at once? Every server lives in the same dashboard, with the same buttons for start, restart, backup and the common game commands.

Common questions

What is the best game server for a group of friends?

The one your group plays most. Minecraft, Terraria and Valheim are the cheapest to host for a small group. Palworld, ARK, Project Zomboid and 7 Days to Die need bigger plans but suit groups who want a long survival run.

How do I keep strangers off our server?

Use the game's password, whitelist or allowlist from the panel, and hide the server from the public list where the game allows it. Each game page lists the exact settings.

Can friends on console join?

In several games, yes: Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, Valheim, Palworld, ARK: Survival Ascended and 7 Days to Die on its Crossplay type. Console players often join with a code or the server list instead of an address.

Do my friends need their own copy of the game?

Yes. Every player needs their own copy of the game, on the same version as the server.

Can we switch to another game later?

Yes. The owner can switch the server to another game with a same memory plan from Settings. The current world is backed up first.

Can my friends help manage the server?

On a split server, friends who make an account with the email they paid with can use the console, the one click actions and the file manager. Only the owner changes the plan or switches games.

Can my friends and I split the cost?

Yes. At checkout choose "Me and my friends" and up to 10 people each pay their own share with their own card, on any plan length, from 3 days to a year. It is not a payment plan: nobody pays in parts over time, each friend simply pays their own share. You pay yours, send each friend their link, and the server starts straight away. Each share includes a $1 payment fee.

Can I build a custom plan?

Yes. Every game has a Build your own page: pick any amount of RAM up to 32 GB, any length from 3 days to 1 year, prepaid or a subscription, plus your server type and settings. A custom size costs 15% more per GB than the standard plans next to it.

Can I pay once instead of a subscription?

Yes. Pick Prepaid and pay once for 3 days, 30 days, 6 months or a year. Nothing renews: when the time is up the server pauses and keeps its world for 14 days. Add time or switch to a subscription from your panel any time. Short rentals cost more per day, since every server is set up from scratch.

How fast is setup, really?

Your server starts building the moment Stripe confirms payment. Most are online in under a minute, and the address and login appear on your dashboard automatically.
